Art Director - Social & Creative

Location: Abu Dhabi / Dubai

We're Four – an international, independent agency powered by creativity and collaboration. Our 250-strong team spans media, creative and communications, operating from hubs in London, Cardiff, Sheffield and the UAE.

Our MENA team works with leading government entities, health organisations, consumer brands and corporate / B2B clients, delivering integrated campaigns that shape reputation, influence behaviour and drive results.

We're now looking for a talented Art Director to join our UAE team in Abu Dhabi or Dubai — someone who can lead visual thinking, elevate creative output and bring bold ideas to life across platforms.

What You'll Do

This role sits at the heart of creative development and execution — shaping how brands show up visually across social, digital and campaigns.

Your role will include:

• Leading the visual direction of social-first campaigns, content series and always-on output
• Developing strong creative concepts and translating them into standout executions
• Working closely with copywriters, strategists and account teams to bring ideas to life
• Creating and overseeing high-quality designs across static, motion and video formats
• Ensuring all creative output is aligned with brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries
• Directing designers, motion artists and external production partners where needed
• Bringing a strong eye for layout, typography, storytelling and visual consistency
• Contributing to pitches and new business with strong conceptual thinking and presentation-ready work
• Staying on top of trends, formats and platform behaviours to keep content fresh and relevant

What You Bring

We're looking for someone with strong creative instincts and the ability to turn ideas into high-impact visuals.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience as an Art Director, Senior Designer or similar creative role (agency preferred)
• A strong portfolio showcasing social, digital and campaign work
• A deep understanding of visual storytelling across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Experience working across static, motion and video-led content
• Strong attention to detail with a high bar for craft and execution
• Confidence presenting ideas and explaining creative rationale
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams

Bonus if you bring experience across government, health, consumer or corporate/B2B sectors.
