Join one of the world's most ambitious wellness destinations, a world-class center in Abu Dhabi where ancient healing philosophy meets clinical precision. It's a fully integrated therapeutic ecosystem that redefines wellbeing in the region. With a multidisciplinary team, a stunning purpose-built facility, and a client base spanning royalty to C-suite, the bar is set high and raised constantly.
As an Art Therapist, you'll carry a full caseload across individual and group modalities, co-develop programming with psychiatrists and psychologists, and own your specialty end-to-end, from intake to outcomes tracking. You'll be the creative anchor in a deeply clinical environment, making the case every day that art isn't supplementary. It's transformative.
What You'll Focus On
- Deliver individual and group art therapy sessions across a diverse, high-acuity client population, adults navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, burnout, and identity transitions.
- Design and evolve structured therapeutic programs in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and wellness coaches.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and document clinical progress with rigor and consistency.
- Build and manage a well-resourced art therapy studio, materials, environment, and workflow.
- Contribute to the center's thought leadership: workshops, retreats, community programming, and regional outreach.
- Train and supervise junior staff or interns where relevant.
- Stay current on evidence-based practices and push the clinical team to integrate emerging research.
Who You Are
- Master's degree in Art Therapy (or equivalent dual credential in counselling/psychotherapy + art therapy).
- Licensed or board-certified (ATR-BC, HCPC, or equivalent internationally recognised credential).
- 4–8 years of clinical experience, ideally spanning mental health, trauma, or integrative wellness settings.
- Skilled across media: painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, digital, you meet clients where they are, not where it's convenient.
- Clinically grounded: you write clean notes, hit your documentation deadlines, and know your DSM.
- A natural collaborator who thrives in multidisciplinary teams and doesn't need to win the room to influence it.
- Culturally fluent, you've worked with diverse populations and adapt your practice accordingly.
- Arabic language skills are a plus, though not required.
- UAE experience or genuine enthusiasm for relocating to Abu Dhabi is essential.
