Job Purpose:

In this role, you will help implement the ISO42001 framework in Dar offices, and will identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor risks arising from AI and machine learning systems throughout their lifecycle. Working with data, technology, compliance, security, privacy, and business teams, you will run AI risk assessments, maintain the AI risk register, and drive control implementation and remediation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the AI GRC team in implementing ISO42001 certification across multiple office locations.
  • Control & Compliance Support: Assist in translating emerging AI regulations and internal standards (ISO 42001 for AI management systems) into day-to-day controls, evidence collection, and audit readiness tasks.
  • AI Risk Assessments: Support AI risk assessments, helping evaluate AI use cases against established risk appetites and documentation protocols.
  • Third-party AI risk: Assess AI vendors, tools, and externally sourced models.
  • Procedures: prepare and implement AI related procedures for responsible AI development and use across the organization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with digital, engineering, and project teams to ensure that best practices are followed and adherence to governance procedures throughout the AI lifecycle.
  • Documentation & Tracking: Maintain up-to-date AI asset register, risk registers, compliance trackers, managing reviews and audit calendars to ensure transparency across multidisciplinary initiatives.
  • Produce AI risk reporting, including Key Risk Indicators, incidents, and emerging risks, for leadership and governance committees.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 1+ years of professional experience in AI engineering, risk management, compliance, information security, data governance, or a related technical/analytical field.
  • Foundational Knowledge: Preferable familiarity or exposure to AI governance frameworks and standards (such as ISO/IEC 42001).
  • Technical Mindset: Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts and lifecycle.
  • Communication & Organization: Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and clear written communication for cross-team coordination.
