Job Description

Job Title: Asset Coordinator

Reports to: Asset in Charge

Job Objectives:

The Asset Coordinator is responsible for operational tasks performed in the company assets. issuing, receiving, and counting inventory items, locating and placing items in the appropriate locations and assist with providing security controls of materials held in inventory.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the transport of materials from Stores to the point of delivery, ensuring timely and undamaged delivery of goods to project sites.
  • Oversee all aspects of transportation planning, including scheduling, routing, and required vehicle maintenance, while optimizing delivery routes and managing inventory for timely delivery.
  • Collect, update, maintain, and manage asset infrastructure information, including conducting condition inspections and mapping.
  • Maintain and update the asset registry through regular inspections, asset data collection, and proficient use of asset management information systems.
  • Advise on preventative maintenance schedules and ensure drivers adhere to these schedules to maintain vehicle and asset integrity.
  • Analyze, visualize, and convey asset and transportation data to support decision-making processes.
  • Maintain accurate records related to both asset management and transportation coordination.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate Supervisor/Manager.

Qualifications:

  • At least a high-school diploma or university degree

Years of Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years
