Join Lufthansa Technik as an Asset Executive! Drive sourcing and manage the technical, financial, and regulatory lifecycle of aviation assets. Maximize availability, minimize costs, and foster strong supplier relationships to keep our fleet flying efficiently and profitably.
Tasks
Your main tasks include, among others:
- Sourcing of assets in the network and market
- Technical evaluation of potential assets
- Identification and sourcing of suitable assets with business model definition and support for Sales
- Vendor evaluation, manage the relationship and set up contracts
- Negotiate conditions for loan/exchange and sale of assets
- Define storage scope and requirements
- Maintain the asset inventory and track asset movements
- Planning and forecast of asset requirements and availability
- Identify potential improvements and initiate benchmarking for revenues optimization
- Asset Valuation and manage inventory commercially
- Data Analysis & Reporting and asset tracking
- Manage the end-to-end asset repair cycle
- Analyze and perform profit and cost evaluation
- Participating in Projects
Requirements
The ideal Asset Executive should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience is required
- Practical experience in engineering, preferably of aviation products
- Knowledge in aviation products and understanding of the regional business and aviation culture
- Excellent negotiation and problem solving abilities
- High level of service and customer orientation
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
- Able to demonstrate strong research and organizational skills
- Knowledge of data reporting and dashboard tools
- Passionate to learn, grow and contribute to various projects
- Team player with a collaborative and strategic mindset
- Strong decision making ability
- High level of responsibility
- Clear and effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels
- Proactive and innovative
