Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Store Team Member – IT Asset Management to manage IT inventory, asset tracking, stock control, and device issuance across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting asset lifecycle management, coordinating hardware issuance and returns, and ensuring efficient store operations while adhering to organizational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

IT Asset Management

  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets throughout their lifecycle.
  • Track hardware assets including laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Update asset registers and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Support asset tagging, identification, and documentation.
  • Monitor asset movement and ownership.

Inventory Management

  • Manage IT inventory levels and maintain optimal stock availability.
  • Perform regular inventory audits and stock reconciliation.
  • Monitor inventory consumption and recommend replenishment.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of IT equipment.
  • Maintain inventory records within asset management systems.

Device Issuance & Returns

  • Coordinate issuance of IT devices to employees.
  • Process asset returns during employee transfers, resignations, or replacements.
  • Verify asset condition before issuance and upon return.
  • Maintain issuance records and obtain required approvals.
  • Coordinate replacement and upgrade activities.

Stock Management

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming IT equipment.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse/store inventory.
  • Coordinate stock transfers between locations.
  • Monitor damaged, obsolete, or excess inventory.
  • Prepare stock reports and inventory summaries.

Store Operations

  • Maintain organized and secure IT storage facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory handling procedures.
  • Support physical verification of assets.
  • Coordinate with procurement and IT support teams.
  • Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the store.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain asset registers, inventory logs, and issuance records.
  • Generate inventory, stock movement, and asset utilization reports.
  • Maintain documentation related to warranties and asset disposal.
  • Support audit activities by providing inventory documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with asset management policies.

Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with IT, Procurement, HR, and Finance teams.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding asset allocation activities.
  • Assist with procurement planning based on inventory levels.
  • Respond to asset-related queries from internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in IT Asset Management, Inventory Management, Store Operations, or IT Logistics.
  • Experience managing enterprise IT hardware inventory.
  • Experience using inventory or asset management systems is preferred.
