Job Purpose
This role sits within the Restaurants division and supports revenue management and FP&A by driving revenue optimization across all brands and markets. The Assistant Manager – Revenue works closely with Marketing, Finance, and Brand teams to plan, evaluate, and optimize promotions, discounts, and other revenue-impacting initiatives. The role is responsible for delivering actionable insights through sales analysis and reporting, enabling data-driven decisions that maximize revenue while maintaining profitability across channels and markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and evaluate revenue-impacting activities such as promotions, discounts, new product launches, and limited-time offers across all brands and countries
- Conduct pre- and post-analysis of promotional campaigns and lead review discussions with marketing and aggregator teams to assess effectiveness
- Influence marketing strategies, product portfolio decisions, and promotional planning to drive profitable revenue growth
- Ensure all campaigns follow defined approval processes and SLAs across stakeholders
- Analyze promotional performance, identify improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations to senior leadership and brand teams
- Monitor competitor promotions and collaborate with marketing teams to define response strategies
- Perform country mix, brand mix, and menu mix analysis to assess revenue and margin impact, and present actionable insights
- Develop internal benchmarking frameworks, KPIs, and scorecards across brands and markets
- Optimize margin pools across channels including dine-in, takeaway, delivery, and online platforms
- Deliver accurate and timely sales reporting for management reviews, audit committees, and earnings discussions
- Conduct detailed sales analysis to identify performance trends, gaps, and opportunities, and support decision-making
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and standardization in reporting methodologies across markets
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including FP&A, Marketing, Operations, Procurement, IT, and Business teams to drive implementation of revenue initiatives
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred
- Strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, or economics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG, retail, or restaurant industry, preferably in revenue management, FP&A, or analytics roles
Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of Python or SQL is an advantage
- Solid understanding of sales analysis, revenue drivers, pricing, and channel performance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and performance optimization
