Job profile:
We are looking for a personality with proven scientific and professional experience in Electrical
and/or Computer Engineering. We expect in-depth knowledge in these areas: Electronics, PCB
Designs, synthesis, and Implementations, Instrumentation & Measurements Systems, Sensors and
Metrology, experimental testing and verification, IoT/IIoT and their applications, PLC programming
and Model-driven Engineering of Industrial Automation Software, Machine Learning as a Part of
Computational Intelligence within the Context of Industrial Automation, and Control Engineering.
The applicant should be ready to familiarize her/himself with neighboring disciplines in the field of
industrial automation and electrical engineering, as well as the Pharmaceutical Engineering. In
addition, the applicant should be able to teach core and major courses in the Electrical Engineering
Department, at both the undergraduate and the postgraduate levels. The position is equipped with
a modern research and training lab suitable for interdisciplinary work in industrial automation and
robotics.
Qualifications:
● Candidates should hold a Ph.D. or Doctorate
● Candidates should be able to demonstrate their extensive professional experience through
particular achievements in the application or development of scientific knowledge and
methods in at least five years of professional practice after graduation. Of these, at least
three years must have been exercised outside the higher education sector.
● Track record of collaborative research and successful supervision
● Excellent teaching ability at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
● High capacity to develop pedagogical innovations and to manage a study program
● Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation)
● Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in undergraduate or graduate
teaching. Preference will be given to candidates who have a record of accomplishment in
independent and applied research.
