Abu Dhabi University is inviting applications for a full-time
Assistant/Associate Professor in Public Health position. This position is part of our strategic expansion of public health education, research, and community engagement. The successful candidate will play a key role in teaching, curriculum development, research, and outreach activities supporting public health advancement in the UAE and beyond.
The faculty member will contribute to teaching in Abu Dhabi University's
Master of Public Health (MPH) and undergraduate health programs and is expected to engage in scholarly research and service activities that align with the university's mission and values.

Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field.
- Track record of research and peer-reviewed publications.
- Experience working with government agencies, health organizations, or academic institutions on public health initiatives.
- Involvement in community-based public health projects or international collaborations.
- Proven experience in teaching, research, and public health practice.
Expected Skills And Competencies
Expected Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of three years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, including curriculum development, course delivery, and student supervision.
- A strong background in research, with publications in peer-reviewed journals in relevant areas such as infectious diseases and public health.
- Ability to contribute to developing and delivering the university's public health programs, including the Master of Public Health (MPH) program.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead and supervise research projects, especially those on health issues relevant to the UAE.
- Experience in collaborating with healthcare institutions, government agencies, and academic partners in the UAE and the region.
- Interest and willingness to participate in administrative responsibilities within the department and college, including committee work and academic advising.
