The College of Law at Abu Dhabi University is contributing to academic excellence nationally and internationally. We are currently seeking a new Faculty Member at the level of Assistant Professor in Technology and Law – consideration will be given at Associate Professor in special cases.
The College of Law is a regional leader in legal education, offering a Bachelor of Law, a Master of Public Law, a Master of Private Law, and a Master of Law in Cyber Law and Artificial Intelligence, and a PhD in Law. Our programs are CAA and WASC-accredited. Our curriculum, primarily in Arabic and English, reflects our commitment to academic excellence and cultural diversity. Applicants should be able to teach in English and Arabic, however, applicants with English only are also encouraged to apply.

- Research Proposal: Please include a 2-page research proposal stating what research you will conduct over the next 2-4 years while at the College of Law.

Criteria You Must Have

- Experience Required / Nature of Relevant Experience Required
- Assistant Professor
- Have a doctoral or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
- Have demonstrated significant scholarly accomplishments appropriate to his/her discipline.
- He/she should have had at least three years of full-time teaching and research experience, with key research publications, to be considered for Assistant Professor.
- Have demonstrated excellent teaching ability and shown continuing active engagement with students in and outside the classroom.
- Associate Professor
- He/she should have had at least eight years of full-time teaching and research experience, with key research publications.
- If applying as an Associate Professor please list your Top-10 Scopus publications with a 5-line explanation for each of the ten papers of why it is a good contribution to academic literature.
- Special Skills and abilities
- Communication/Teaching Skills, Presentation Skills, Computer Skills (Microsoft Office).
- Have a teaching qualification or be willing to complete one under the UK HEA Fellowship Scheme.
- Demonstrated commitment to publishing Scopus publications.
- Clear engagement with research networks, evidence-based.
- Experience in developing student activities/events.
- Demonstration of being a good University citizen.
