About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager Technical Audit to support our internal audit and compliance function by assessing the technical quality, standards, and execution of our construction and real estate projects. The role will ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, quality benchmarks, safety standards, and internal policies across sites and departments.
- Perform routine inspections of construction sites to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Assist in checking documents such as IPC, Variation Orders, Drawings and other Contractual Documents.
- Cross-check the physical progress of work against contractor reports and project schedules.
- Assess the quality of materials and workmanship, identifying any deviations or substandard practices.
- Ensure that safety protocols and environmental regulations are being followed at the site.
- Communicate findings to site teams, seek clarifications, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Conduct brief reviews of inspection reports, daily progress reports, and site logbooks submitted by contractors.
- Compile and submit concise audit reports summarizing site observations, photographic evidence, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- 57 years of experience in technical audits, QA/QC, project monitoring, or site engineering within real estate or construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and audit/compliance procedures.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Ability to identify risks, recommend improvements, and communicate findings professionally.
- Proficiency in MS Office and audit/project management tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
