Assistant BIM Manager

Job Responsibilities :

• Support BIM Implementation
• Assist in developing and implementing the project's BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
• Ensure BIM standards, workflows and project requirements are followed

• Model Coordination
• Coordinate BIM models across architectural, structural, civil and M&E disciplines
• Facilitate clash detection and model coordination meetings
• Monitor the resolution of design conflicts

• Quality Assurance
• Review BIM models to ensure compliance with project standards and client requirements
• Maintain model accuracy, completeness and consistency

• Project Coordination
• Work closely with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and BIM Coordinators
• Ensure timely submission of BIM models and project deliverables

• BIM Software Management
• Support the administration of BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Civil 3D (where applicable)

• Documentation Management
• Assist in preparing BIM reports, model audits, coordination records and project documentation
• Maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE)

• Technical Support
• Provide guidance to BIM Coordinators and BIM Modellers on modelling standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot BIM-related technical issues

• Training and Mentoring
• Support internal BIM training programmes
• Mentor junior BIM staff to improve modelling skills and BIM knowledge

• Compliance
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with company standards, client specifications and regulatory requirements
• Support compliance with relevant BIM standards such as ISO 19650 where applicable

• Continuous Improvement
• Recommend improvements to BIM workflows and processes
• Keep up to date with new BIM technologies, software and industry best practices

Job Requirements :

• Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management or related field
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of BIM-related experience in the construction industry
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, AutoCAD
• Knowledge of BIM standards, clash detection, model federation and digital project delivery
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Problem solving and analytical thinking
• Good time management and organisational skills
