Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop and implement seasonal strategies to align with brand goals and drive gross margin targets.
  • Build a detailed assortment and investment plan, including sourcing and supplier negotiations.
  • Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning and monitor the critical path, range building, and product selection.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Visual Merchandising (VM) to develop product focus plans, emphasizing current business while expanding into new categories.
  • Conduct customer focus groups and market research for insights on product demand and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze weekly sales by style, category, and unit adjust production to maximize sales.
  • Oversee the buying calendar and implement seasonal planning, phasing, and competitor analysis.
  • Develop and influence in-store VM and seasonal look to align with brand positioning.
  • Provide product training for staff to maintain awareness of trends and ensure consistent customer experience.
  • Review performance and feedback, offering strategic buying recommendations to enhance the product range.
