We are seeking an Assistant Design Manager specializing in Fit Out & Interiors to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Design Manager in overseeing and managing all aspects of design projects related to interior fit-outs.
Job Responsibility
- Collaborate with the Design Manager to develop design concepts, plans, and specifications for fit-out projects.
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure that design plans meet client requirements and project timelines.
- Assist in sourcing materials, furniture, and fittings for fit-out projects within budget constraints.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design plans are being implemented accurately.
- Support in managing external contractors and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion of projects.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in fit-out and interior design to contribute innovative ideas to projects.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in interior design, with a focus on fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of design software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills
- Strong background in interior design and fit-out projects
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
- Project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor design projects
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, vendors, and team members
