Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the Group's tax compliance, tax advisory, tax planning and risk management, including the following:
Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Oversee preparation and timely filing of all direct and indirect tax returns (e.g., corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax).
- Oversee preparation of transfer pricing documentation, Country-by-Country Reporting and Global Minimum Tax submissions
- Lead the tax reporting process for month-end and year-end close, including tax provisions and deferred tax calculations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Tax Risk Management & Governance
- Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities; act as the primary liaison.
- Maintain robust tax controls and documentation to ensure audit-ready compliance.
- Monitor tax legislation changes and assess impacts to the business.
Business Partnering & Advisory
- Provide tax advisory support to cross-functional teams on commercial contracts, business transactions, projects, etc
- Work closely with Tax Lead to support commercial decisions and risk evaluation
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
External Relationships
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and relevant authorities
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
- Professional qualification (e.g., SCTP, CPA) .
- Around 10 years of relevant experience in tax, with a mix of Big 4 and in-house corporate roles
- Self-driven with strong ownership, agency, and resilience.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and analytical skills with a practical, solutions- oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
- Confident in presenting to senior management and stakeholders.
