Job Description

POSITION : Assistant Engineer – Chiller Systems

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to the Chiller Systems maintenance team members in providing chiller maintenance, repair and annual shutdowns.
Manage the team to achieve set targets.
Keep updated in the latest development in chiller technology and offer advice to the team, practical technical information.
Recommend, quote and advise internal & external customers on technical & cost matters pertaining to chiller maintenance, repair and annual shutdowns.
Increase revenue for Chiller team according to company's plan and direction.
Sourcing of contractor & supplier.
Provide technical advice relating to chillers, ACMV systems to site managers when necessary.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned whenever required

Requirements

Bachelor/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience including hands-on experience in troubleshooting & repairing Trane, Smardt, Climaveneta, Daikin, Carrier chillers etc. and annual shutdowns
Experience in dealing with building owners, contractors, OEM distributors will be advantageous
Possess Class 3 licence will be an advantageous.
