Assistant Facilities Manager
Job Summary
The Assistant Facilities Management supports the daily operations of facilities services, ensuring efficient maintenance, safety, and compliance across assigned sites. The role requires coordination with vendors, technicians, and stakeholders, with strong communication in both Arabic and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day facilities management operations, including maintenance, housekeeping, and soft services
- Coordinate with contractors, service providers, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with company standards and HSE regulations
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Handle work orders, service requests, and follow-ups
- Assist in inspections, audits, and site visits
- Prepare reports, documentation, and records related to facilities operations
- Communicate effectively with clients, tenants, and staff, particularly Arabic-speaking stakeholders
- Support the Facilities Manager in administrative and operational tasks as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 24 years of experience in facilities management or a similar role
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of MEP systems and facilities operations is an advantage
- Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office and facilities management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
