The Assistant Finance Manager will primarily focus on managing banking and cash flow operations, producing analytical financial reports, conducting customer credit assessments, and supporting other finance-related tasks. The role must reflect strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a solid understanding of financial principles and experience in a manufacturing setting.
Skills & Expertise:
- Strong experience in banking and cash flow management, financial reporting, and customer credit assessment
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong grounding in financial principles
- Prior experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP (preferably F&O)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including financial modelling and data analysis
- Familiarity with credit risk management tools and reporting systems
- Good understanding of IFRS accounting standards
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in core financial and accounting operations
- Background in a manufacturing or project-based industry is preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, CA, or ACCA are an advantage
