Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and coordinating equity funding activities, including evaluating funding opportunities, preparing financial information, and supporting equity investment requirements.
  • Support the evaluation, analysis, and management of hedge fund investment opportunities and related financial activities in line with the company's investment objectives.
  • Represent the company in discussions and negotiations with banks, financial institutions, and other funding partners for business finance, credit facilities, project financing, and other funding requirements.
  • Responsible for financial management reporting, presenting monthly and year-to-date financials with analysis in compliance with IFRS requirements.
  • Develop regular reporting and analysis including key metrics reports for sales, inventories, costing and customer collections.
  • To handle Budgeting process of the organization with directions from senior management.
  • Oversee quarterly and annual statutory audit process to make sure same is completed within set time frame. Coordinate with external auditors and analyze results, highlighting areas of concern and recommending improvements.
  • Oversee continuous improvement of accounting and financial processes and develop the team to achieve best practices.
  • To make sure the organization is in compliance with VAT and Tax requirements of regulatory authorities.
  • Manage payment of operational accounts and execute supplier and vendor payments in compliance with company policy.
  • Interact with collections department regularly to make sure defaults are eliminated and follow ups are done on timely manner.
  • Prepare monthly financial and other MIS reports for the top management on timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Master's degree in commerce or Qualified MBA in Finance or CA/ CPA.
  • 5 or more years of experience in Senior accounting/ finance position with a very well reputed company.
  • Competency in Oracle / Microsoft Office programs / Accounting packages.
  • Sound knowledge of IFRS requirements specifically related to Real Estate industry.
  • Ability to guide, mentor and coach the accounts team.
  • Preferably well versed with requirements of DLD and RERA in terms of Real Estate projects
