Job Summary

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing daily operations. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining brand and service standards, optimizing revenues, controlling costs, and leading F&B teams in line with Salayel Hospitality's service culture.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Experience

  • Assist in managing daily Food & Beverage operations across all outlets
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service and guest satisfaction
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, HACCP, and safety standards

Team Leadership & Training

  • Support recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management of F&B staff
  • Motivate and supervise team members to achieve service excellence
  • Conduct regular briefings and on-the-job training sessions

Financial & Cost Control

  • Assist in controlling food and beverage costs, labor costs, and inventory
  • Support preparation of budgets, forecasts, and operational reports
  • Monitor revenues and implement strategies to maximize profitability

Quality, Standards & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, brand guidelines, and service standards
  • Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with UAE food safety and labor regulations

Coordination & Administration

  • Coordinate with Kitchen, Purchasing, Finance, and Front Office teams
  • Assist in menu planning, promotions, and special events
  • Prepare operational reports and assist the F&B Manager as required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Minimum 35 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations within hotels or hospitality groups
  • Prior experience as F&B Supervisor / Assistant Manager preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of cost control, inventory management, and service standards
  • Proficient in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Experience in UAE hospitality operations preferred
