About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team in Riyadh. Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Ensure operational activities align with company objectives, policies, and quality standards.
- Monitor performance and implement improvements to optimize business operations.
Strategic Execution
- Support the General Manager in developing and executing strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to annual business plans, budgets, and performance objectives.
- Monitor progress against organizational goals and recommend corrective actions when needed.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and operational teams.
- Promote a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development initiatives.
Financial Management
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, and operational expenditures.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, government entities, and strategic partners.
- Represent the organization professionally in meetings, negotiations, and business engagements.
- Support business development and partnership initiatives.
Quality, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable Saudi regulations.
- Maintain high standards of operational quality, safety, and customer service.
- Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive management experience.
- At least 3 years in a senior leadership or Assistant General Manager role.
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, real estate, or service-oriented industries is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian business environment and regulatory framework is essential.
- Previous experience working in Riyadh is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred.
