JOB DESCRIPTION

.Report to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financialactivities
.Examineandevaluatefinancialandinformationsystems,recommendingcontrols to ensure system reliability and dataintegrity
.Analyze MIS, annual reports, financial statements, and other records, using acceptedaccountingandstatisticalprocedurestoassessfinancialconditionand facilitate financialplanning
.Ensure good corporate governance & ethics in theorganization
.Draft&ensureimplementationofriskmanagementsystemandRiskRegisterinthe organization
.Determine the efficiency & effectiveness of the internalsystems
.Review means of safeguarding assets & verify the existence of suchassets
.Follow-up on implementation of auditrecommendations
.Study Recommendations of audit committee and Board Members & Sr. Management
.Study previous auditreport/s
.Interact with Audit committee, Board Members & Sr. Management to decide on the focus point ofaudit
.Prepare Annual Audit plan based on the studies of the abovereports
.Prepare Annual AuditBudget
.Visit units for audit as per Annual audit plan & recommendation of the Audit Committee
.Examine records and interview respective employees to ensure proper system for recording of transactions and compliance with laws andregulations.
.Collect and Analyse data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
.Examine inventory to ensure its adequacy & properaccounting
.Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions (petty cash, bills, tangible assets verificationetc.)
.Supervise special auditassignments
.Communicate results of audit to stakeholders
.Preparation of final quarterly/periodically as desired by the management group wide internal audit report/ AuditMIS
.AnalysingDataorInformation-Identifyingtheunderlyingprinciples,reasons,or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separateparts
.Interaction with Chairman/ Sr. Management for implementationof recommendations of auditreports
.Provideguidanceanddirectiontosubordinates,includingsettingperformance standards and monitoringperformance
.Identifythedevelopmentalneedsofothersandcoach,mentorteammembersto improve their knowledge orskills
.Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperationamong team members
.Develop talent pools for each role in the AuditDepartment
