Key Responsibilities
- Support the Housekeeping Manager in the daily management of the Housekeeping Department
- Allocate and supervise work duties for Housekeeping Team Members
- Conduct routine inspections of check-out rooms and spot checks of occupied rooms to ensure quality standards are met
- Identify, report, and follow up on maintenance issues or operational defects
- Inspect service areas, storerooms, corridors, and public areas on a regular basis
- Assist in scheduling and supervising deep cleaning programs and special projects
- Train, coach, and support Room Attendants and other Housekeeping Team Members to ensure performance meets required standards
- Assist with stock control, linen management, and the proper maintenance of housekeeping equipment
- Provide excellent guest service, including handling VIP rooms and special guest requests
- Ensure full compliance with hotel brand standards, health & safety policies, and company procedures at all times
- Step in to manage departmental operations in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager
Job Description

- Previous experience in a Housekeeping supervisory or assistant management role
- Proven ability to support and manage a diverse team effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest service
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with computers and hotel systems, including Microsoft Office (preferred)
