Assistant Internal Audit Manager - Technology & Analytics | Retail | India Head Office
ROLE SUMMARY
The Assistant Internal Audit Manager is responsible for further enhancing the integrated audit and data analytics driven approach adopted by the Internal Audit function. The role holder will support development and management of delivery of the technology audit plan with focus on adding value to our business. This role will also be responsible for evaluating risks and controls for IT applications, infrastructure, information security as well as digital projects / initiatives.
ROLE PROFILE
- Provide inputs for the development / update of acomprehensive technology audit & analytics strategy and plan that addresses the system and process risks.
- Monitor the technology risk profile and emerging risks based on internal and external factors and update internal audit management of the potential impacts.
- Deliver the technology audit plan comprising of reviews in technical areas of current/emerging technologies, cloud computing, big data, ecommerce/digital, etc.
- Identify and facilitate deployment of technology-driven auditing tools that could enhance effectiveness and efficiency of audit reviews.
- Support the operational internal audit team in executing integrated risk-based audits and assessing assurance level of system controls
- Build relationships with the digital team and key business stakeholders and promote the value of internal audit.
- Ensure deployment and maintenance of key audit systems (such as teammate) that support the internal audit activities.
- Ensure set-up and maintenance of technology environments required to perform critical activities (e.g. data analytics environment, servers for analytics tools, test environments for new deployments / pilot projects etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor's or master's degree in information systems / computer science from an accredited college or university.
- A Professional Qualification/Designation In Technology Auditing (E.G. CISA, CISSP).
- 4+ years of ITinternal audit or consulting in either professional services or industry with at least two (2) years of independent handling / management of assignments.
- Candidate must have experience working in a complex technology driven environment with heterogeneous systems.
- Knowledge of audit methodologies and hands-on experience in developing key internal audit deliverables including process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries.
- Technical and cyber security controls assessment covering business applications, operating systems, databases and it infrastructure components.
