Assistant Lounge Manager

We are urgently looking for a dynamic and highly energetic Assistant Lounge Manager to join TAPASAKE, a Japanese-led dining concept with Mediterranean influence, reopening at One & Only Za'abeel . Combining the precision of Japanese cuisine with the warmth of the Mediterranean, Tapasake brings together its signature restaurant, the UAE's longest suspended infinity pool.

We are seeking a strong hospitality professional with proven experience in premium lounges, nightlife, high-energy restaurants, or entertainment-led venues, who understands how to create an exceptional late-night guest experience while maintaining elevated service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Lounge Manager in overseeing daily and late-night lounge operations
• Lead and motivate the floor team to deliver consistently high service standards
• Drive guest engagement, table experience, and overall atmosphere throughout the evening
• Support VIP and high-profile guest management and build relationships with regular clientele
• Coordinate closely with the bar, restaurant, guest relations, reservations, entertainment, and security teams
• Ensure smooth transition from dining into the late-night lounge experience
• Support revenue generation through strong table management, upselling, and beverage-focused initiatives
• Assist with team training, scheduling, performance management, and operational standards
• Maintain strong awareness of Dubai's nightlife and lifestyle hospitality market

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an assistant management role, or 2–3 years as a Lounge Supervisor, within a premium lounge, nightlife, or high-energy lifestyle dining concept.
• Strong understanding of nightlife and late-night lounge operations
• Experience handling VIP guests and premium table service
• Commercially aware, with a strong focus on beverage sales, average spend, and guest retention
• Confident, energetic, highly presentable, and hands-on on the floor
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Previous UAE/Dubai nightlife or luxury hospitality experience is highly preferred
