We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts and Finance professional with strong knowledge of UAE statutory compliance and hands-on experience in managing end-to-end accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently preparing financial statements, handling VAT and corporate tax filings, and ensuring smooth coordination with auditors and banks.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in compliance with IFRS.
- Independently prepare and finalize financial statements, including consolidated accounts.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial analysis for management review.
- Verify and process purchase/sales invoices, debit/credit notes, and vendor bills.
- Oversee petty cash management and weekly reimbursement reports.
- Perform periodic reconciliation of party ledgers and vendor balances.
- Ensure timely vendor payments and maintain accurate accounts payable records.
Taxation & Compliance
- Prepare and file VAT returns accurately and on time.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and Customs regulations.
- Coordinate and handle statutory audits independently.
- Stay updated with changes in UAE financial laws and statutory requirements.
Banking & Treasury Management
- Manage bank facilities, including LC (Letter of Credit), TR (Trust Receipts), OD (Overdraft), and other correspondence.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly bank statements.
- Liaise with banks for facility renewals and documentation.
Payroll & Labour Law Compliance
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with WPS requirements.
- Administer employee benefits, leave salary, and gratuity as per UAE Labour Laws.
MIS Reporting and Financial Decision Support:
- Prepare detailed MIS reports to provide actionable financial insights, trend analysis, and performance metrics that assist management in strategic and operational decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: CA Inter
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of UAE accounting experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Tally ERP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE statutory compliance.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
