About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an AssistantManager - Business Development to join Dubai Holding Real Estate. The job holder will support the full development cycle of new real estate projects. The role focuses on feasibility assessments, pricing recommendations, market studies, and strategic analysis to guide investment decisions.
Mission
- Support the end-to-end evaluation of new development opportunities across residential and mixed-use projects.
- Deliver robust feasibility studies, market assessments, and financial models to inform investment and pricing decisions.
- Ensure projects align with market demand, company strategy, and commercial viability.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Conduct feasibility studies for new projects, including financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and scenario planning.
- Perform detailed market research on supply, demand, pricing trends, and competitor benchmarking.
- Support highest-and-best-use assessments and development concept recommendations.
- Participate in pricing strategy formulation for residential and mixed-use assets.
- Prepare investment papers, business cases, and presentations for internal committees and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with finance, development, design, commercial, and research teams to validate assumptions and project data.
- Monitor market dynamics and proactively identify risks, opportunities, and potential development gaps.
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives and portfolio optimization discussions.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance / Economics or relevant technical fields; Master's degree -preferred.
- CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) - preferred
- 6 years of experience in real estate development, feasibility analysis, strategy consulting, or financial modeling within the GCC market (UAE preferred).
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, ROI, IRR), feasibility structuring, and Excel-based analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in market studies for residential or mixed-use projects.
- Solid understanding of pricing strategies, real estate valuation principles, and development economics.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and present insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Familiarity with CRM, BI tools, or modeling platforms is an advantage.
