Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager Butler based in the Amsterdam area. The Assistant Manager Butler will oversee and deliver personalized guest service to ensure unique and memorable experiences. Responsibilities will include managing and mentoring a team of butlers, attending to guest requests and preferences, and ensuring the highest service standards within the property. The role also involves assisting in the seamless execution of luxury experiences while maintaining discretion and compliance with established service protocols. Collaboration with other departments to exceed guest expectations is essential.

Qualifications

  • Service excellence skills, with a focus on hospitality, personalized guest service, and attention to detail
  • Team leadership and management skills, including staff training, mentorship, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally and effectively with guests and colleagues
  • Multitasking and problem-solving abilities to handle varied responsibilities and resolve issues promptly
  • Knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and familiarity with fine dining, etiquette, and cultural sensitivity
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage
  • Prior experience in luxury hospitality or guest services is preferred
  • A degree or relevant training in Hospitality Management or related fields is an advantage
