We have built and integrated studios for India's leading news channels, as well as undertaken turnkey Systems Integration projects. ZOOM has had a presence in most Summer and Winter sports in India and globally. Similarly, we have a significant presence in prestigious entertainment and cultural events across India for over a decade. ZOOM is now on a high growth trajectory including in the existing Media Services vertical and soon to begin pre ops in two different verticals – one in Omnichannel retail (Petcare) and the other in a high-end B to G segment.

Role Overview:

 The Assistant Manager – Finance and Accounts will play a pivotal role in strengthening the organization's financial foundation. This includes ensuring robust compliance and reporting, leading ERP-driven process improvements, and contributing to key strategic initiatives like fundraising and investor due diligence.

Key Responsibility Areas:

1.     Financial Reporting & Ind AS Implementation

 Experience of transition to Ind AS (Indian Accounting Standards), ensuring successful first-time adoption and compliance. - Prepare periodic (provisional, MIS and projected) and annual financial statements in accordance with Ind AS. - Draft technical accounting papers on complex transactions to ensure alignment with current standards.

2.     Taxation (Direct & Indirect)

Periodic compliance for Direct Tax (TDS, Income Tax returns, Advance Tax) and Indirect Tax (GST returns, reconciliations, and annual filings). - Handle tax assessments, prepare submissions for tax authorities, and liaise with external tax consultants. - Ensure timely statutory payments and adherence to regulatory timelines.

3.     Audit, IFC & Compliance

 Manage Internal Audits and IFC and coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely closure of audit points. - Conduct internal reviews to identify process gaps and recommend operational improvements.

4.     Strategic Finance & Fundraising

 Support the management team in Fundraising initiatives by preparing financial models, projections, pitch decks and assisting in Due diligence.

5.     Data Analysis & Reporting

 Utilize Advanced MS Excel skills to create financial dashboards, MIS reports, and variance analysis for management review. - Automate routine Excel trackers to reduce manual errors and turnaround time.

Ideal candidate will have:

·       Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3–4 years of post-qualification experience.

·        Strong experience in Ind AS implementation and financial reporting.

·        Hands-on exposure to Direct and Indirect Tax compliance (Income Tax, TDS, GST) along with handling assessments and notices.

·        Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (financial modeling, dashboards, automation); working knowledge of PowerPoint for presentations.

·        Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

·        Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
