ABOUT THE ROLE

For DP World Sokhna Logistics Park

Job Purpose: Supports financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and compliance while assisting the Finance Manager in strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory reports.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to develop and achieve fiscal goals and strategic financial objectives.
  • Monitor financial activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with management and cross-functional teams to develop budgets and consolidate financial information.
  • Develop and utilize financial models to evaluate business performance and forecast financial scenarios.
  • Stay current with emerging financial technologies, accounting standards, and software solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Identify and recommend cost-saving initiatives to improve financial performance.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, variance analyses, and management dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities while maintaining effective vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit requirements and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement process improvements and strengthen financial controls to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Assist in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationship coordination.
  • Prepare financial presentations and executive reports for senior leadership and board meetings.
  • Lead finance-related projects, including system implementations, process enhancements, and operational optimization initiatives.
  • Support procurement activities by reviewing financial aspects of contracts and assisting with vendor evaluations.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5-7 years of progressive finance or accounting experience
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
  • Experience with budget preparation and variance analysis
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial work.
  • CPA or CMA certification (or working toward)
  • Previous experience in similar corporate environment
  • Project management experience.
  • Preferably IFRS Familiarity.
