Roles and Responsibilities
- As a core member of our IT Infrastructure team, you will embark on an exciting journey of learning and professional growth, working alongside experienced professionals in Network management, data privacy and a collaborative and stimulating environment.
- Responsibilities:
- Network Setup and Configuration: Play a key role in establishing and configuring network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Learn to fine-tune network performance for seamless operation.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Vigilantly monitor network performance, security, and reliability. Participate in regular maintenance routines and updates to guarantee optimal network efficiency.
- Network Audit: Conduct thorough network audits to assess and enhance the security, performance, and compliance of our infrastructure, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
- Security Configuration: Implement and manage network-related security configurations, safeguarding against threats and vulnerabilities to protect organizational data and systems.
- Wifi, VLAN, and Security Group Management: Oversee the office Wifi network, VLAN configurations, and security groups, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient connectivity across the organization.
- Collaboration: Engage with skilled network engineers and diverse teams to sustain high-caliber infrastructures that fulfill organizational objectives.
- Data Privacy and Protection: Uphold stringent network and data security protocols to prevent unauthorized access or breaches, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
- Policy Maintenance: Regularly review and update IT policies, verifying their relevance and effectiveness within the organization.
- Technical Support: Offer stellar technical assistance to end-users, resolving network-related issues promptly to maintain satisfaction and productivity.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in network management, data security, and IT policy formulation.
- Proficient in managing network infrastructure components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Solid understanding of network audits, security configurations, Wifi management, VLANs, and security groups.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Preference for candidates with relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate [CCNA], CompTIA Network+).
