Reed Recruitment Middle East is looking for a Assistant Manager Marketing for one of the leading Luxury retail group for Dubai Location.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Retail Marketing Planning and Commercial Alignment
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager, SBUs, Retail, Commercial and Operations teams to identify customer-engagement, footfall, conversion and brand-building opportunities aligned with business priorities.
- Translate approved commercial and marketing priorities into structured campaign, activation and content plans.
- Contribute to campaign ideation using customer insights, retail trends, competitive activity, regional opportunities and performance learnings.
- Maintain an integrated retail marketing calendar covering campaigns, malls, offline media, partnerships, events, VM, Travel Retail and key regional trading periods.
2. Creative and Content Coordination
- Develop clear and structured briefs for creative agencies and internal design teams, covering objectives, target audiences, deliverables, specifications, timelines and channel requirements.
- Create mood boards and provide creative and content direction within the framework approved by the Marketing Manager.
- Review, proofread and enhance campaign copy and content write-ups to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity and consistency with the approved personality, positioning, voice and tone of each concept and represented brand.
- Coordinate the development, adaptation and delivery of campaign assets across offline, mall, digital, CRM and partnership touchpoints.
- Manage artwork-review and approval workflows with internal stakeholders and brand teams, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines.
3. Offline Media Planning and Execution
- Prepare detailed agency and vendor briefs for OOH, transit media, print and radio campaigns, including objectives, target audiences, timelines, markets, deliverables and measurement requirements.
- Develop and maintain annual and quarterly offline-media calendars aligned with approved campaign and commercial priorities.
- Coordinate media plans, bookings, production schedules and contractual requirements for review and approval by the Marketing Manager and HOD.
- Maintain complete documentation and structured repositories for short-term and annual OOH and offline-media commitments.
- Coordinate artwork adaptations, approvals and timely campaign changeovers with media owners.
- Obtain and archive proof-of-display materials and monitor vendor compliance with agreed SLAs.
4. Mall Marketing and Commercial Collaborations
- Maintain annual marketing calendars for priority malls of key focus and identify relevant collaboration, visibility and promotional opportunities alongside the Marketing Manager.
- Develop proposals and coordinate approved joint campaigns, social-media integrations, customer initiatives and promotional activity with mall marketing teams.
- Ensure that Group concepts and campaigns are accurately represented across mall websites, directories, applications and promotional platforms.
- Monitor mall-owned digital and physical channels to ensure that information and content remain current, accurate and brand aligned.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with mall marketing teams and other relevant external stakeholders.
5. External Partnerships and Regional Campaigns
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute approved offline partnerships and retail campaigns.
- Coordinate day-to-day relationships and deliverables with banks, airlines, loyalty programmes, hospitality groups and other approved partners.
- Support collaborations with Dubai Economy and Tourism and similar government, authority-led or regional retail initiatives.
6. Events, Public Relations and Retail Activations
- Lead the day-to-day planning and execution of approved in-store activations, collection launches, customer events, sponsorship activations and PR-led initiatives.
- Develop detailed project plans covering objectives, responsibilities, timelines, budgets, logistics, content requirements and approval milestones.
- Coordinate agencies, mall teams, suppliers, brand teams and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
- Coordinate approved PR opportunities and press-event logistics, while referring public messaging, media statements and sensitive content to the Marketing Manager for approval.
7. Collateral and In-Store Marketing Elements
- Review existing retail collateral on a bi-yearly basis and identify opportunities to improve functionality, presentation and customer experience, based on inputs and feedback from the operations teams.
- Coordinate approved development or enhancement of shopping bags, POS materials, in-store assets, generic gifts with purchase, gifting materials and other retail collateral.
- Prepare briefs and coordinate design, sampling, stakeholder review and production timelines.
- Ensure that collateral is brand compliant, operationally practical and delivered within approved budgets and timelines.
8. Reporting and Performance Management
- Prepare a structured monthly retail marketing report covering offline media, mall marketing, partnerships, events, activations, creative/content delivery and regional initiatives.
- Track content delivery against approved plans and timelines.
- Monitor offline campaign deployment, placement accuracy, proof of display, customer engagement, partner deliverables and key field observations.
9. Cross-Functional, Vendor and Project Management
- Work closely with Brand, Retail, Commercial, Operations, E-commerce, Digital Marketing, Finance, Procurement and Design teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
- Manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, approvals and deadlines through structured project plans and status trackers.
- Coordinate agencies, suppliers, media owners and other external partners, and monitor performance against agreed deliverables and SLAs.
- Track project budgets and financial documentation where applicable, and promptly flag potential overruns or scope changes.
- Ensure that contracts, quotations, approvals, invoices, LPO documentation and proof of delivery are complete and appropriately archived.
- Provide clear meeting notes, action logs and follow-up communication for assigned projects.
- Support the Marketing Manager on additional functional priorities consistent with the scope and level of the role.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related discipline is mandatory.
- A postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Approximately 8 to 12 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within retail, lifestyle, luxury, fashion, hospitality or an advertising agency serving comparable brands.
- Demonstrated experience managing integrated marketing programmes across offline, social, digital and CRM touchpoints.
- Experience of graphic-design and AI-enabled creative tools to develop mood boards, campaign concepts, presentation assets, artwork adaptations and other high-quality marketing/creative materials within demanding timelines.
- Strong hands-on experience in offline media, mall marketing, partnerships, events, PR coordination and creative/content development.
- Experience working with agencies, media owners, mall teams, brand principals and cross-functional internal stakeholders.
- UAE market experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience working across multiple GCC markets would be an advantage.
- A valid UAE driving license is required.

The candidate should be able to adapt messaging to reflect the distinct personality, positioning, voice and tone of the Group's concepts and the brands it represents, while maintaining consistency across campaigns, presentations, CRM, digital platforms, PR materials, partnerships and customer-facing communications.

- Technical, design and AI proficiency: Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is mandatory. Proficiency in relevant graphic-design and content-development tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or comparable applications is required, along with practical knowledge of AI-enabled creative tools. Familiarity with project-management and reporting tools is also desirable.
