Assistant Manager (Marketing & Sales)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within designated markets and customer segments.
• Understand customer requirements, market conditions, and business challenges to provide suitable solutions.
• Review and approve quotations and proposals prepared by Inside Sales before submission to customers.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
• Work closely with Inside Sales to ensure smooth execution of customer orders.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Procurement, Operations, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure effective execution of sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and partners when required to support customer requirements and project execution.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in oilfield service company or sales of oil and gas equipment/materials.
• Proven track record in managing accounts and achieving sales targets.

Skills

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in Malay language is an added advantage for communication with clients, prospects and vendors.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
• Willingness and ability to travel when required for business purposes.
