Job Purpose:
Responsible for Parts overall order planning & procurement to ensure high fulfilment rates across channels while maintaining Optimal inventory & months of supply (MOS) and review of Syncron alerts and maintenance. The role involves leveraging data analytics, process improvements, analyzing and promoting slow-moving / aged stocks through all channels to minimize parts obsolescence. Coordinating with principals on backorders, and operational issues.
Job Responsibilities:
Financial Target achievement:
- Ensure parts orders are reviewed and placed timely in line with calendar schedules & Order value forecast to achieve Principal Purchase Targets.
- Monitor incoming shipments & coordinate with Freight forwarder, AAC custom clearance, Finance & Warehouse teams for receipting shipments & maintain optimum inventory level in line with planned Months of Stock / Stock Turn.
- Strategic Sourcing to ensure parts competitiveness.
Projects & Strategic Implementation:
- Continue digital transformation drive in Parts Planning & procurement and regularly review Syncron parameters and forecasting to maximize the utilization Syncron inventory optimization software.
- Data Analysis and review of Syncron alerts - Risk of run out, Outliers, fill order bookings, Lead times, Parts demand exceed the forecast, Critical stock list, Power BI dashboards etc.
- Identify areas for lead time and freight rates reduction with principal, logisticteam.
- Detailed Inventory analyses & promotions Excess stock / Slow moving stocks / Aged stocks and pre-empt stocks from moving to Provision. Recall of provision parts / Excess stocks from branches. Liquidation of non-moving parts through Online auctions / Surplus stock sellers.
- Coordinate with ERP/GIT to design and implement planned process automations and improve the parts procurement processes.
- Maintenance of System Parts master in line with internal SOPs.
- Coordinate with Pricing team to analyze Principal Price impact and propose order planning strategies.
- Identification of Parts under ECAS and coordination with Principals & MOIAT appointed agency for documentation and annual Certificates of Conformity.
Business Development:
- Collaborate with Sales team to understand market demands and plan inventory for specific markets and models at a part level.
- Study VOR data for stock planning and supporting workshop.
- Planning of new model parts inventory in line with Vehicle launch schedules and ensure Parts availability.
- Coordinating with vehicle sales team for outside local accessory fitments & closure of SOAs.
Customer Journey:
- Monitor and maximize Parts fulfilment across all channels.
- Achieving high level of Customer Satisfaction for both internal & external customers through improved parts availability.
- Coordinate with Principals on operational issues of Parts supplies, backorders, countermeasures parts, technical support, container co-ordination, principal follow-up for warehouse Parts claims settlement delays etc.
- New spare parts trading Supplier registration through e-procurement portal.
- Reconciliation of old pending orders with principals for closure in system.
Stakeholder Management:
- Close collaboration with Sales & Service to enhance business.
- Support Parts Sales & Service to achieve overall business objectives.
- Support Principal business planning with data analysis of performance and potential.
- Coordinate with Finance and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
- Coordination with Service to review and prioritize pending parts supplies.
- Planning of campaign parts with Service.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Principals on claims.
- Analyze Loss of sale reports though power BI.
- Data analyze with summary insights to track and improve KPIs, Processes and back up data for escalations and system enhancements.
Learning & Growth:
- Identify skill gaps and recommend trainings to bridge the gaps.

Qualifications / Experience / Competencies:
Qualifications:
- Graduate / Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience in parts planning, inventory management and highly skilled in data analytics and digital transformation.
Special requirements:
- A minimum of 8-10 years experience in automobile parts planning, ordering and inventory management.
Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of both internal combustion engines (ICE) and electrical vehicle components and systems, including EV batteries, motors, power electronics etc.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with the team and other functions.
- Logical and analytical approach to parts planning and ordering.
- Data driven decision making and proactive approach.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and Strategic Thinking skills.
- Drive to develop skills to enhance performance on an ongoing basis.
- Hands on product knowledge of spare parts and EPC and Principal DMS.

- Experience with service workshops and Spare Parts will support performance.
