We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager to strengthen our Warehouse & Inventory function and ensure smooth, accurate, and timely handling of goods across our supply chain.

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager – Warehouse & Inventory will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, and supporting the organization's supply chain efficiency. This role requires close coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy, timely dispatch, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
  • Manage daily inventory operations including inbound, outbound, and returns processing
  • Ensure warehouse layout, storage practices, and handling procedures meet operational and safety standards

Inventory Management

  • Ensure continuous inventory availability; proactively flag low-stock and out-of-stock SKUs
  • Maintain inventory health through periodic checks, cycle counts, and wall-to-wall physical counts
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate inventory logs, records, and documentation

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics for warehouse and inventory operations
  • Prepare weekly and monthly inventory reports for Management review
  • Devise and implement strategies to optimize inventory control procedures and reduce inventory loss/shrinkage
  • Document and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with warehouse staff, procurement, logistics, and other cross-functional teams to ensure business goals are met
  • Coordinate with vendors/3PL partners (if applicable) on inbound/outbound schedules
  • Support audits and compliance checks as required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse and inventory management, preferably in healthcare, pharma, or FMCG sectors
  • Hands-on experience with inventory management systems / WMS software
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles, cycle counting, and stock reconciliation
