Job Description

Position Overview

The Assistant Operations Manager will support the Operations Manager in managing daily operations across the Rent a Car and Delivery Services Divisions, ensuring smooth operations, staff coordination, fleet management, customer service, and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily operations of the Rent a Car and Delivery Services Divisions.
Supervise and coordinate Team Leaders across the Rent a Car and Delivery Services Divisions.
Monitor Team Leaders performance, productivity, and daily operations.
Support Team Leaders in resolving staff and operational issues.
Ensure Team Leaders meet operational targets and company standards.
Monitor vehicle allocation, availability, utilization, maintenance, and documentation.
Coordinate rental bookings, vehicle collection, delivery, returns, and customer requirements.
Monitor delivery operations, schedules, routes, and service performance.
Handle customer complaints, operational issues, delays, breakdowns, and escalations.
Monitor staff attendance, productivity, and performance.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and KPI updates.
Coordinate with Finance regarding collections, deposits, fines, damages, and other operational matters.
Coordinate with workshops, insurance companies, suppliers, clients, and other service providers.
Monitor operational costs and support cost-control initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE regulations, and operational procedures.
Maintain accurate operational, vehicle, rental, and employee records.
Assist with fleet planning, recruitment, training, and staff performance when required.
Identify operational issues and support process improvements.
Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in Rent a Car, Delivery ,Fleet Management, or a similar industry.
UAE experience is required.
Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and operational software.
Knowledge of ERP, CRM, fleet management, and AI tools is an advantage.
Ability to prepare reports and monitor KPIs.
Valid UAE driving license is required.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
