Assistant Operations Manager / Operations Manager

About the role

As the Assistant Operations Manager/Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of the company's manufacturing operations. You will work closely with the Management to oversee all aspects of the production process, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.

What you'll be doing

• Planning, organising and directing the daily manufacturing activities
• Monitor production processes and workflows to identify and resolve any bottlenecks or issues
• Ensure health, safety and environmental regulations are strictly adhered to across the facility
• Analyse production data and prepare detailed reports for management
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Provide supervision and training to the production team to maintain high standards of workmanship
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics, procurement and inventory management

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing operations role, preferably in the food production industry
• Strong understanding of production planning, quality control and inventory management principles
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of production staff
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Familiar with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proficient in data analysis and report generation using MS Office tools
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
