Assistant Operator (Coiled Tubing)

JOB PURPOSE:
Assists in the execution of coiled tubing operations to support oilfield services activities. Ensures the safe and
efficient delivery of coiled tubing services to enhance well productivity and operational performance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific Accountabilities
u2022 Assist in the preparation, assembly, and deployment of coiled tubing equipment and tools for well
intervention and stimulation operations.
u2022 Support the operation of coiled tubing units, including monitoring equipment performance, pressure,
and flow rates, and assisting with troubleshooting and maintenance activities as required.
u2022 Assist in rigging up and rigging down coiled tubing equipment at well sites, ensuring adherence to safety
procedures and operational standards.
u2022 Assist in the execution of coiled tubing interventions, such as cleanouts, perforating, logging, and
stimulation treatments, under the guidance of experienced operators and supervisors.
u2022 Handle and maintain tools, equipment, and materials used in coiled tubing operations, ensuring proper
storage, inspection, and inventory management.
u2022 Collaborate with the coiled tubing team and other departments to ensure efficient coordination of
resources and timely completion of job tasks and objectives.
u2022 Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of
practice.

u2022 Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.

u2022 Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating
procedures and functional processes.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
u2022 Support the institution of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures
& controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines across the Division in line with
international standards, best practices and Corporate Code of Practices and to ensure integrity and
safety of assets.
Housekeeping
u2022 Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during operations, in line with established
standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.
Reports
u2022 Provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.
u2022 Prepare various Key Performance Indicator (KPI) checklists for management.

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal
u2022 Daily contact with Operator, Coiled Tubing and with Site Support Services staff.
External
u2022 Client Well Services Personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
u2022 Completion of Secondary (12 years) education in English, Mathematics or a science subject Or High
School education and Diploma / Certificate in Coil Tubing training.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
u2022 Minimum 1 years practical mechanical exposure and as an Operator Assistant.
u2022 Given the nature of oil field service work, must possess good interpersonal and communications skills.
u2022 Computer awareness in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel programmes.
u2022 Simple written and spoken English.
