We're looking for an
Assistant Planner to support our Buying & Planning team by ensuring the right products are available at the right place and the right time. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, inventory and cross-functional teams while contributing to the success of leading international retail brands.
What You'll Do
As an Assistant Planner, you will play a key role in supporting merchandise planning and inventory management by:
- Creating and maintaining accurate product master data, purchase orders and allocations.
- Monitoring inventory levels to maximise sales, stock availability and profitability.
- Managing replenishment, transfers and allocation of merchandise across stores.
- Coordinating with suppliers, logistics and internal stakeholders to ensure timely product delivery.
- Tracking shipments, highlighting risks and resolving delivery issues proactively.
- Supporting planners and buyers with reporting, sales analysis and inventory insights.
- Maintaining shipment trackers and ensuring accurate system updates.
- Processing supplier documentation, order confirmations and return-to-vendor requests.
- Collaborating closely with Buying, Logistics, Finance, Operations, Retail and Marketing teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What We're Looking for
We're seeking an energetic and proactive planning professional who enjoys working in a fast-moving retail environment.
Essential Requirements:
- 2–4 years retail planning, allocation or merchandise planning experience.
- Mandatory GCC retail planning experience within fashion, beauty, luxury or department store retail.
- Strong understanding of merchandise planning, replenishment and inventory management.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy when working with data.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative mindset with a positive, can-do attitude.
