Abu Dhabi University is seeking a dynamic and innovative Assistant Professor in Film and Media Production to join our esteemed College of Arts, Education & Social Sciences. This full-time faculty position is pivotal in delivering high-quality education in directing, cinematography, editing, screenwriting, and digital media production. The successful candidate will employ both theoretical and hands-on approaches to teaching, ensuring that students achieve program learning outcomes through the design and updating of course materials, assessment of student performance, and supervision of capstone projects and film productions. The role demands active engagement in research and creative output, including film productions, media projects, and scholarly publications. Additionally, the Assistant Professor will contribute to curriculum development and continuous program improvement, aligning with industry standards and emerging technologies. Responsibilities also include academic advising, departmental service, and collaboration with industry partners to enhance student employability and ensure program relevance.
