Role Description
This full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor (Medical Doctor) requires working at Taibah University's campus in Medina. Responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate students, developing and delivering high-quality academic content, and supervising students research projects. The Assistant Professor will also contribute to curriculum development within their specialization, engage in research and scholarly activities to advance their field, and collaborate on academic initiatives that promote community engagement. Participation in departmental, faculty, and university administrative duties is also part of the role.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in medical education, clinical practice, and academic training.
- Proficiency in conducting academic research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and supervising research projects.
- Strong teaching and communication skills, along with experience in developing and delivering course curricula.
- Familiarity with modern technology and tools used in education and research.
- Commitment to continued professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- A medical degree (MD or equivalent) and relevant postgraduate qualifications (e.g., residency training, Ph.D., or fellowship).
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
