Department Profile:

The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering offers broad-based degree programs complemented by a wide range of research activities. We are committed to excellence in teaching, research, and in providing service to the community. The Department offers two undergraduate majors: Industrial and Systems Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. We also provide several graduate study opportunities in our master's and Ph.D. programs. The Department has excellent specialized laboratories, workshops, and computing facilities in various disciplines and comprises an outstanding team of faculty members and supporting staff. Many of our academics are widely recognized international authorities in their respective areas of expertise. They are actively engaged in both scholarly activities and create a conducive and creative environment suitable for a pleasant student learning and teaching experience. Job Description:

The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Qatar University invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in the field of Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong research background in aerodynamics, aircraft design, flight dynamics and control. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to both teaching and research activities, develop externally funded research programs, and engage in interdisciplinary collaborations to advance the department's academic and research mission.
