Assistant Project Manager (Building Construction)

$4,000 - $5,500 per month

Our client are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee residential building projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, particularly in landed residential developments, and be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of residential and government construction projects from pre-construction to handover.
• Develop project schedules, work programs, and monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage site teams including engineers, quantity surveyors, supervisors, and supporting staff.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee tender preparation, procurement documentation, and tender submission processes.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and resources to ensure effective cost control.
• Ensure all works comply with design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Conduct regular site meetings, progress reviews, and provide updates to senior management.
• Resolve technical issues and site challenges effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry with proven project management experience.
• Degree in Building Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Strong experience managing residential projects, especially landed housing / bungalow developments.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work effectively
