Assistant Research Scientist

Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Research Scientist to support scientific research, experimentation, data collection, and technical analysis. The role involves assisting with research projects, preparing experimental materials, following established scientific procedures, collecting accurate data, and contributing to the development of reliable research findings.

The Assistant Research Scientist will support research planning and experimental activities by reviewing scientific literature, preparing samples and equipment, conducting experiments, recording observations, and organizing research data. Responsibilities include analyzing results, identifying trends or inconsistencies, maintaining accurate research records, and assisting with the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and research documentation.

The position requires collaboration with scientists, researchers, technical specialists, and other project team members to support research objectives and ensure that procedures are conducted accurately and efficiently. The role also involves maintaining laboratory or technical equipment, following safety and quality requirements, supporting data interpretation, and contributing ideas for improving research methods and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific or technical field.
• Strong understanding of scientific research methods, experimental design, data collection, and analytical principles.
• Ability to conduct experiments, follow scientific procedures, and maintain accurate research records.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collect, organize, evaluate, and interpret scientific data accurately.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment, research software, statistical tools, or relevant technical systems.
• Ability to prepare clear technical reports, research summaries, presentations, and documentation.
• Strong research and literature-review skills with the ability to evaluate scientific information from multiple sources.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and commitment to research integrity.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary research environments.
