Assistant Restaurant Manager

Role Description The Assistant Restaurant Manager role at OarcEgypt is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness. Responsibilities include supervising front-of-house staff, assisting with scheduling, overseeing opening and closing procedures, and helping to manage inventory and supplies. The role involves monitoring guest experiences, handling feedback and service recovery, and maintaining a welcoming, efficient environment. The Assistant Restaurant Manager also assists with training new team members, implementing operational policies, and supporting the Restaurant Manager in meeting performance and revenue goals.
Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused mindset, with skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service.
• Ability to support staffing needs, including Hiring and onboarding of team members.
• Excellent Communication skills for interacting with guests, colleagues, and management.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including basic food safety and service standards.
• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management or supervision is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Working proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
