Novotel and Ibis World Trade Centre and Ibis One Central are seeking an Assistant Revenue Manager who is responsible for assisting the Cluster Director of Revenue in maximizing hotel revenue through strategic pricing and inventory management. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to make data-driven decisions.

Job Description


  • Assist in the development of pricing strategies and revenue management tactics.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to optimize revenue opportunities.
  • Implement revenue management strategies to achieve the hotel's financial goals.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop pricing strategies for group bookings and promotions.
  • Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track revenue performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure accurate rate loading across all distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for revenue generation and cost savings.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of revenue maximization strategies, including upselling tactics and revenue optimization techniques.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue generation, such as average daily rate (ADR), occupancy rate, and revenue per available room (RevPAR).
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate revenue forecasting and budgeting.
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of revenue-generating initiatives, such as package deals, promotions, and partnerships.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in revenue management to remain ahead of the curve.
  • Support the Cluster Director of Revenue in special projects, analysis, and ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in revenue management or pricing analysis in the hotel industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency in revenue management tools and software, such as RMS or other similar systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of the hotel industry trends, market dynamics, and distribution channels.
