Job Purpose
Provide electrical support to cementing operations by assisting in the installation, inspection, operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic systems used in pressure pumping and cementing equipment. The role supports safe, reliable, and efficient cementing operations in compliance with ADNOC Drilling, HSE, and client requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist the Electrician in maintaining, troubleshooting, assembling, and repairing electrical and electronic systems on cementing and pressure pumping units, including control panels, sensors, instrumentation, and power systems.
- Support electrical inspections, function tests, and fault diagnosis of cementing equipment before, during, and after operations.
- Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals under supervision.
- Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electrical systems in cementing units and associated equipment.
- Support site activities during rigu2011up, operations, and rigu2011down as instructed by the Electrician.
- Assist in identifying faulty components and preparing material requirements for repair and maintenance activities.
- Maintain basic records of maintenance work completed, materials used, and issues identified, and report to the Electrician.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, handling, and storage of electrical tools, instruments, and spare parts.
- Strictly comply with HSE requirements, electrical safety procedures, and Locku2011Out/Tagu2011Out (LOTO) practices.
Minimum Education & Experience
Education
- Technical Certificate / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation from a recognised technical institute.
Experience
- 2u20133 years of relevant experience as an Assistant Electrician or similar role in oilfield services, pressure pumping, cementing, drilling, or heavy equipment operations.
- Exposure to field operations and highu2011pressure equipment environments is preferred.
