Job Description

Purpose of the Job:

  • Assist sales manager to develop strategies to improve sales, profits, and market shares.
  • Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best.

Job Accountabilities:

Visit dealers/major customers in the field to sell agricultural products, follows up on previous sales calls.

Suggest and implement action plan to improve sales volume.

Create new business opportunities through various sources.

Participate and recommend special training for sales staff to improve work efficiency.

Maintain an updated knowledge of company goals, vision, and values to ensure effective methods to create the professional and healthy working environment.

Develop strategies to achieve personal sales targets.

Monitor inventory to ensure timely supply of ordered products/services.

Develop plans, special activities, and promotions.

Inspects warranty claims and returned goods.

Conduct weekly sales & collections meeting with the sales staff.

Oversee and verify invoices before sending it to accounts department.

Address issues relating to pricing, customer complaints, delivery of goods/services.

Qualifications & Education

Graduate degree in any stream.

Experience

Minimum 7years of experience within the sales background.

Agriculture industry will be preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

Fluent in English; Arabic an advantage.

Extensive practical experience.

Driving license required
