Assistant Technical Manager

Responsibilities

• Review all technical documentation and drawings of project works to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate design-related matters with consultants and clients to resolve technical problems for the project team
• Develop and manage shop drawing submission schedules, primarily for RC and architectural drawings, ensuring orderly submittals
• Compose technical proposals to support project requirements and approvals
• Arrange and chair regular technical team meetings to monitor project progress and address issues
• Optimize design solutions to comply with construction standards, regulatory frameworks, contractual specifications, and buildability requirements
• Manage the design approval process promptly to resolve all technical issues and maintain project timelines
• Ensure strict compliance of design work with contractual requirements to uphold quality and standards
• Identify and communicate potential risks or issues to management and project teams that could impact project performance

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Singapore PE Board
• Minimum of 8 years relevant construction experience in Singapore
