About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Assistant Vice President (AVP), Credit Administration to lead and oversee the end-to-end credit administration function, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and efficient loan processing.
Responsibilities
Credit Administration & Documentation Oversight
- Lead the review, preparation, and execution of credit and loan documentation.
- Oversee the end-to-end credit administration process from approval through disbursement.
- Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor documentation exceptions and outstanding conditions.
Operational Leadership
- Manage daily credit administration operations and service standards.
- Establish robust documentation controls and workflows.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Oversee system updates, data integrity, and reporting.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Sales, Credit Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams.
- Act as escalation point for complex documentation matters.
- Coordinate with legal counsel, borrowers, and business partners.
- Liaise with regional and China-based stakeholders.
Risk, Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Lead support for audits and regulatory reviews.
- Drive remediation and continuous improvement actions.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop team members.
- Support succession planning and performance management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Accounting, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of credit documentation, loan administration, and compliance.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
